Project 7: Evolution
This project revolved around my cat, Yogi, whom I have a tremendous connection with. He greets me at the door, he sleeps in the same spot on my bed every day, he walks in front of my path just for attention.
I decided to call this project "evolution", because, upon taking this photo of Yogi, i realized how far his species has come since the times where all cats were wild. It got me thinking about how things change, how creatures change. Thousands of years ago, I'd never have been able to form a connection with this cat. He would have barred his teeth in my direction, before tearing flesh from bone.
Now, he lays in my bed, yawning, curled up. He steps on me as I lay comfortably, reminding me of his presence. A friend who has come a long way to be mine.
